Re: Master Antenna Service
Dear Shareholder/ Resident:
Please be advised that the Board of Directors of Kings Village Corp. (the “Corporation”) has this date determined – in accordance with Paragraph 3 of the Proprietary Lease – that effective June 12 2009, the Corporation will be terminating the use of and removing the master antenna from the roofs of the buildings located at 1270 East 51st Street, 1275 East 51st Street, 1199 East 53rd Street, 1200 East 53rd Street and 1165 East 54th Street, Brooklyn, New York 11234. The Corporation has decided to discontinue use of these antenna for a number of reasons, not the least of which being that this equipment has become obsolete with the federally mandated change to High Definition broadcasting and the cost of upgrading and converting the Corporation’s existing equipment is prohibitively expensive, while alternative sources for such service are now available to each building resident directly from cable and satellite providers.
As such, please make such other arrangements as you deem fit and appropriate for television service into your apartment.
